House Minority Whip Steve Scalise pointed to the same situation, ignoring the fact that aid that was to be withheld was part of an INTERNATIONAL anti-corruption effort, with the European Union and the International Monetary Fund also calling for Shokin’s firing. Jim Jordan called Ukraine “one of the three most corrupt countries on the planet” and THEN condemned efforts to fight corruption in Ukraine because Biden (while VP) was involved in international efforts to oust a corrupt Ukrainian “prosecutor”, Viktor Shokin, who wasn’t actually prosecuting corruption. They have all apparently taken “Tyranol”, the drug that makes you forget that you applauded a tyrant who is slaughtering civilians. Republicans and their propaganda wing have a terrible record on supporting Ukraine, so don’t buy their BS now. Today in NEWS YOU WON’T HEAR ON FOX: ‘Tyranol’ edition I don’t expect to sway many, if any, but I do expect to bring a smile to other liberals who read those posts. It is strangely satisfying to just drop some debunking into the ether. I figured that most of the RWNJ comments have nothing to do with the subject of the posts, so I don’t really care much whether mine do either. I recently started posting little blurbs in the comments of Facebook posts of The White House and a number of other Democratic people and organizations.
